CADMIUM ELECTROPLATING
As a topcoat, AMS-QQ-P-416 and other Nadcap certified cadmiums provide protection at a low thickness in highly corrosive environments, but can also provide a good basecoat for paints and adhesives. For greater part strength, cadmium plating can be reinforced with a chromate coating.
