In addition to our own high standards for metal plating consistency and quality, and our chemistry labs with teams of on-site chemists, accurate testing of our electroplating, anodizing and other processes, INCERTEC, a nationally recognized certified metal finishing company, has the experience and training to ensure that every job is handled and verified according to the proper specifications.
NADCAP (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) is a global cooperative standards-setting program for aerospace engineering, defense and related industries. The mission of NADCAP is to provide international, unbiased, independent manufacturing process and product assessments and certification services for the purpose of adding value, reducing total cost, and facilitating relationships between subscribers and suppliers. INCERTEC is accredited by NADCAP for chemical processing. Being accredited assures our customers that our work complies with, and is audited against, the toughest standards in the industry. NADCAP accreditations are held by both of our metal plating facilities: Minneapolis and Empalme, Mexico. INCERTEC’s team of NADCAP approved platers and suppliers are prepared to tackle any custom project that comes our way.
GE Aviation Special Process Certification
This certifies that a review has been completed of INCERTEC’s technical resources and quality system controls used for the named processes (as listed on GT-193) and found them to be capable of satisfying the requirements of the specifications listed there as well, subject to the limitations in AE Quality Specification S-1000 for Category I or II Suppliers.
INCERTEC has achieved ISO9001 compliance, demonstrating that we’re committed to delivering high quality systems through tested processes.
Quality management standard for the Aerospace Industry, AS9100 standard is designed to meet stringent, complex and unique demands of the defense and commercial Aerospace industry. INCERTEC is fully certified and in conformance with AS9100:2009 D.
Federal Firearms License
INCERTEC holds a Federal Firearms License (FFL) at our Minneapolis location, enabling us to engage in business pertaining to the manufacture of firearms and ammunition.
We comply with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), a set of government regulations controlling the export and import of defense-related articles and services on the United States Munitions List (USML). By following these regulations, INCERTEC is in compliance with the Arms Export Control Act (AECA).
INCERTEC complies with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (or RoHS). This directive restricts the use of six hazardous materials in the manufacture of various types of electronic and electrical equipment. RoHS is related to the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive developed as part of a legislative initiative to solve the problem of huge amounts of toxic e-waste by setting collection, recycling and recovery targets for electrical goods.
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
INCERTEC complies with all applicable FAA Drug Abatement Regulations. INCERTEC has implemented Drug and Alcohol testing programs and has been FAA inspected and is in compliance with all applicable Drug Abatement Regulations.
