Commercial PTFE Coating
For metal applications, such as cookware and machinery components, polytetrafluoroethylene coating reduces friction, making surfaces easier to clean and improving operational efficiency. Ceramic Coating vs. Teflon Coating
Ceramic and Teflon coatings differ primarily in their composition and application. Ceramic coatings are typically made from inorganic materials like silica and titanium dioxide, providing a hard, durable layer that enhances scratch resistance and heat resistance in applications such as automotive paint protection or cookware.
On the other hand, Teflon coatings use polytetrafluoroethylene, known for its excellent non-stick properties and resistance to chemicals and high temperatures.
